SteadyFlowEvery client, every process, and everything you owe them, in one workspace.
About

I build the software, and I am the one who shows up.

SteadyFlow is me. That is the whole pitch and the whole limitation, and it is worth knowing which one matters more to you before we start.

Meet Ashton

I am Ashton Newland, and I run SteadyFlow on my own. I started it because I kept meeting the same business: eight to eighty clients, good work, good people, and a back office held together by one person’s memory and a folder of half-finished notes. Nothing was broken. It had just grown past the point where anyone could hold it in their head.

So I built the thing I wanted that business to have. SteadyFlow gives every client a page and then does the part nobody has time for: watching the dates you already keep, and telling you which accounts have gone quiet. It is opinionated in places, and the section below explains where and why.

Some businesses need more than software, and that is the other half of what I do. I come in, map how the place actually runs, build what is missing around it, and train the people who will be using it after I leave. It is slower and it costs more than a subscription, and for the right business it is the only thing that works.

Either way you are dealing with me directly. No account manager, no handoff to somebody junior once the paperwork is signed, and an honest answer when the timing or the fit is wrong.

How I work

Five decisions you can hold me to.

These are choices already made in the product, not intentions. You can go and check every one of them.

01

Say what happened, do not score it

SteadyFlow will not give a client a health rating out of a hundred. A number is easy to build and impossible to act on, so the product writes the reason in a sentence instead: nobody owns this account, this blocker has not moved in nine days.

02

The AI proposes, then waits

When the AI wants to build a view or change a column, it shows you exactly what will happen and stops. Nothing is applied to your workspace because a model decided it was a good idea.

03

Permissions live in the database

A teammate who cannot open an account cannot get an AI answer about it either, because the rule is enforced where the data is and not in the wording of a prompt. Prompts can be talked around.

04

No lock-in, as a feature

Month-to-month, and every record exports to a ZIP in one click, including your notes, forms and automations. If the software stops earning its place you should be able to leave the same afternoon.

05

You should not need me to run it

I set your workspace up around your business, and the job is finished when your team can run the thing without calling me, not when the invoice clears.

What I do

One product, and the two halves of the job.

The system that already exists

SteadyFlow. Every client you look after gets a page: who owns them, what happens next, and every update, task, note and file filed against them. I designed it, I build it, and I answer the support email.

Making it fit your business

I work out how your business actually runs and set your workspace up around it. When you need something the system does not do yet, I build that into it rather than pointing you at another tool. Same product, still one place to log into.
